Dream to sleep

Thursday is the opening of Danske Standarder
It’s a small groupshow arranged by Maya Peitersen

My contributation is a lino print pasted on the pink inner wall
For the print I borrowed a line by the poet F.P Jac
Jeg er fri og taler kun drømmen i søvn
it loosely translates into
I am free and speak only the dream to sleep

Crystal Days

A coincidental pretentious photograph
I'm back after hibernating from the blog,
Here is another peak into what I have going on in the studio.
Lately I have been working a lot with sculptures,
one of the two series are small salt sculptures
I'm doing some tests before attempting working one a larger scale.
So far I am happy with the results, classic and funky at the same time
above are the skeletons of the next round,
below are how the first small ones turned out

White lines

This week I was carving a couple of new lino print.
I have a small pile of plates I have made during the last year or so.
I had not tried to print them yet,
so I desided to make some simple test prints,
I printed them by hand without a press,
but it works well enough for me to get an idea about what works and what dosent.

The Sleeping Muse In The City

I have just come home from a three week trip to New York.
It was great being back. Besides seeing some good friends,
seeing all the art was amazing.
Above is a photograph I took of one of my favorites:
The Sleeping Muse by Brancusi, at the Met.

Instigator

I just finished the drawings for a new small publication.
It is the artist Paul Weston who has the Instigator imprint who is the publisher.
Hopefully it will be ready for the Art Book Fair In Los Angeles that he is going to take part in.
