Sculpting In Time

I'm looking at the lightning footage I shot last summer outside of Memphis, I'm tryig to figue out how to use it. 

I have just started reading Tarkovsky's book Sculpting In Time, it's very fascinating and untill now it concurs with how I think of the drawing, 

and how I work with the relation of the different elements in the drawing, 

I hope the book will help me get on with how to attack the lightning footage.
